Do It Anyway

Martina McBride's song "Anyway" talks about things that might not ever come to be, that might scare or intimidate you, that may never be appreciated, or that might not even be accepted, but you do them anyway because you know it's good for you and it's where your heart and hope lie. Therefore, knowing that how my family acts, how we look, what we choose to enjoy, or even what we say and believe may not be appreciated or accepted, I still want us to be who we are anyway...do it anyway.

Harvest Hoe Down Fun

Aaris's school every fall has a fund-raising event called the Harvest Hoe Down. This year I helped man a booth for her class. Last year we just bought a couple of tickets for her to try some of the booths, but this year she got a wrist band that let her do everything a many times as she desired. She tired the rock climbing 2 times. The first time she almost made it, and the second time she was too frustrated and tired to make it as far. But, she did have a blast doing all of the other booths over and over. She even got her hair sprayed pink! Titus got to do a couple of booths until he got to leave in order to attend a family friend's wedding.
