If You Like 2 Talk to Tomatoes

In November Skylyn turned 2.  Yes, I said TWO!!!!  I can't believe it!  My baby is growing so very fast!  She talks in sentences and she can do ANYTHING she sets her mind to!  "Me do it" is her favorite phrase.  It always takes longer to get things done, but she can accomplish almost anything. 

She is a HUGE Veggie Tales lover, so there was no doubt that should be the theme of her party.  My mom (Mimi) helped me out in a big way and also practices her very crafty talents.  She made the cake!  Now you see where I get any do-it-yourself craftiness from.  I always had the most fun and decorative birthday cakes - back before "Cake Boss" was a cool thing.  Skylyn still talks about her cake.  She is also obsessed STILL with the "Happy Birthday To You" song and always blows out the imaginary candles at the end.  :)

It was fun decorating the house with fresh vegetables.  The kids colored Bob faces and then we cut them out and made Bob balloons.  We also played 'Pin the Tooth on Larry".  Skylyn fell in love with getting blindfolded and spinning at Titus's party and was ready to go, again, and and again, and again!  She loved it every time.  After eating some good hotdogs and veggies she got to blow out her candles.  I love these pictures because you see her mischievousness and love for attention coming through.  And since the girl doesn't prefer chocolate she was all over the vanilla pea cupcakes that Mimi made!

We were blessed to have my parents (Papaw and Mimi), Aaron's parents (Poppy and Mamaw), my brother (Uncle Jeremy), and Aaron's mom's mom (Memaw Mary) join us and Skylyn's friends Levi Dishman, Jake Lawson, and David Poppe.
