Do It Anyway

Martina McBride's song "Anyway" talks about things that might not ever come to be, that might scare or intimidate you, that may never be appreciated, or that might not even be accepted, but you do them anyway because you know it's good for you and it's where your heart and hope lie. Therefore, knowing that how my family acts, how we look, what we choose to enjoy, or even what we say and believe may not be appreciated or accepted, I still want us to be who we are anyway...do it anyway.

Ladies Retreat

This past weekend I got to attend the Westover Hills Ladies Retreat. It was great! The speakers were good, the fellowship was wonderful, and God's power was everywhere. I had a great time hanging out with true loving christian sisters and friends! And I must give a big 'shoot out' to the girls of room 74-5 (April Gunter, Beth Fuston, Heather Hammock, Kristen Perkins, and Laura Cosper): you ladies rock and I had a blast laughing and sharing into the wee hours of the night!
