Halloween Night

Halloween night is always so much fun for us because we get to spend time with some great friends that we don't get to see very often. Joe Howe was Aaron's roommate from ACU. His wife Tiffeny and their five kids Emily, Rueben, Katie, Grace, and Una are just the sweetest family. They live out in Lockhart on a farm, which is great for everything execpt trick-or-treating. Andrew, Laura, Seth and Karsyn Cosper go to church and Care Group with us. We adore them. And, Andrew is Tiffeny's (Joe's wife) brother. Then their is Russell who a cubicle co-worker with Aaron the summer Aaron and I met. He has a beautiful wife, Apryl, and daughter, Tess, and baby on the way. They are a precious family. Apryl is also Andrew and Tiffeny's sister. We were also blessed this year to have Rob, Leslie, Cole, and Kylie Greene join us. They also go to church with us and are such a giving and loving family. And, well, thank goodness for grandparents. Both my parents and Aaron's parents got to join us. The kids adore them and us parents love them because they are always helpful and happy.

Eating time

From past posts you should know that Aaris likes bugs. Well, it has been no different this Halloween. Aaris has loved all the spiderweb and spider decorations people have. So, when it came time to pick a cookie, Aaris of course chose the spiderweb one.

Karsyn really got into the walking, smiling and waving fun. And has the candy to prove it! Oh, and we all got to witness Karsyn taking some of her first steps with no support!!!!

It's amazing to Laura and I how much Seth and Aaris like playing together. Seth is 3 years older than Aaris. They have had their tiffs that come with a 3 year old not being able to comprehend or keep up with a 6 year old, and a 6 year old not wanting to slow down to a 3 years old's capacity, but yet they always turn right back around and are best of friends once again.
