Trick-O-Treating 2008
This year was the first year we didn't have a bunch of friends over for trick-o-treating, so it seemed a little different, but still a bunch of fun. Aaron's parents and brother, Adrian, came over. Aaron's mom, Vicki, a.k.a Mamaw, brought over their traditional Halloween family meal to share with us: pinto beans and cornbread. I have just recently learned that it was one of the first traditions that Aaron implemented as a child. :) Poppy, Aaron's dad, came in costume as the Lone Ranger. My mom was out of town, but my dad, Papaw, came to enjoy the kid's trick-o-treating. It was good he was there because Titus designated him as his pumpkin bucket holder between houses. Aaron went dressed as the Dallas Cowboys football player, Emmitt Smith, to work, where they decided to paint his face. The kids thought he looked fun. We all enjoyed the pinto beans and cornbread, then took pictures, and around 6:30 we were off for the goodies. We walked our neighborhood for an hour. Titus and Aaris did great. Titus loved being Superman and liked to run between houses and make his cape fly. Aaris got a lot of compliments on her hair wig. She also got very excited over receiving some of her favorite candy. After we got back home the kids had an absolute blast handing out candy from our door to those that came knocking. They also enjoyed some of their treats while they watched "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" with their Daddy...a family tradition for us already.

I love each of their costumes. I am glad to see you had a great night. Congraulations on Aaris' doctors appointment. What a blessing!
