My parents attended the Central Texas Children's Home benefit and auction back in October. The children from the Children's Home actually attend their church, so this was an intimate affair for them.
They wanted to take Aaris and Titus because it was held at Texas Disposal Systems which happens to have an amazing wildlife preserve as part of their acreage. The kids had such a good time seeing all the different wildlife animals...the giraffe being their favorite. It tried to lick my mom's hair and Aaris said it was because the giraffe likes to eat carrots and my mom has reddish hair so the giraffe mistook her hair for carrots. She is so funny.
