My Titus has decided to grow up despite my desires to keep him my baby boy. As you know Aaron has a passion for movies, so he has decided to start introducing some of his favorite classics to the kids. One of those would be Star Wars. Therefore, to no surprise, Titus insisted he must have a Star Wars party. I was still sick, on many medications, weak, and waiting for my ablation surgery, so we needed to keep it simple. I was hoping Titus wouldn't be hurt that his Mommy couldn't go all out, but Titus being the gentle and compassionate boy he is, never noticed and loved every minute. He was able to have his friends, Taylor McDonald, Bubba Mills, and cousin Cosette attend. But, with all the siblings, parents and grandparents, there was still plenty of a crowd. There were too many fun things to pick a highlight which included: pin the star-fighter ship on the galaxy, Darth Vader pinata, blowing out the candles on the cake, opening the generous and thoughtful gifts, and playing with the light saber party favors (thanks to the Dollar Store).

Without your blog I wouldn't know your children at all. While I am so thankful you write here, I am just very sad that people so dear to me are so very far away.
Wowzers, he is such a big boy now. Doesn't it just give you a weepy moment or two? And then you realize that he will be a man some day?
No anxiety, not allowed, just know that your beautiful boy is learning new things every day, and enjoying God's creation, and your the one that gets to share it with him. Four years down, and so many more to go. How awesome is that?
