7 Random Things

OOPS...I FORGOT TO TAG THE NEXT PEOPLE. I TAG: MY SISTER HATTIE, TANYA WARPULA, APRYL HENRICH, LESLIE GREENE, ALYSSA SMITH, APRIL COGBURN, SARA WHITELAW, KRISTI HALL, AND MEREDITH SPRADLIN

I got tagged from a friend's blog to reveal 7 random things about myself, so here it goes:

1. My middle name is spelt Leah, but pronounced Lee. This is because my dad wanted my brother and I to have the same number of letters in our full names. Of course that fun little fact no longer applies since I got married and my last name now has 10 letters in it instead of 8.
2. I cook all my baked goods 10 degrees less than the recipes say. I like my baked goods soft, and this has always helped me to achieve that result.
3. I got stung by a jelly fish in the 2nd grade when I was jumping waves on Galveston beach. My foot swelled up and I was on crutches for awhile.
4. I love cornbread. I could eat it for a meal in itself. It of course has to be nice and moist and not over cooked. Also, I like regular butter on my cornbread. Some restaurants are serving bread with cinnamon or honey butter, but I just don't like my butter that way.
5. I have terrible motion sickness. If I'm in the car, the best place for me to be is in the front seat. If I'm in the back, I'm sure to get nauseous and miserable. I have been this way since I was in elementary school. It even was a problem in college because attending UT Austin, and living in the married housing, I had to ride the shuttle to school every day. Every day, to and from UT, I got nauseous. It's even so bad that I cannot swing on a swing without feeling sick.
6. I have a great sense of direction and a very good memory for direction. After I've been someplace once I will always remember how to get back there again, without directions. I think this is all because I have a picture memory and I can keep that picture in my head forever. My dad is the same way.
7. I am nauseous and exhausted these days due to the fact that I am pregnant with baby number 3! We were not planning on this!!!!!! This is definitely all a God thing. We were very surprised to find this news out the Friday before Aaris's surgery. I'll be 9 weeks pregnant on Monday and I'm due December 1st.
